What is Storybook Junction?
Storybook Junction is a collection of picture books arranged into stations by subject. Our stations are All About Me, Animals, Build-Drive-Ride, Celebrations, Concepts, Dinosaurs, Favorites, Make Believe, Our World, Play and Movement, Science and Nature, Songs and Rhymes, and Stories.
Why is Storybook Junction Important?
Storybook Junction allows children to pick out picture books based on their interests. This collection will help your child develop their pre-literacy skills. It also empowers your child in making important and thoughtful decisions.
Why Use Colored Labels?
Colors are some of the first words children learn and they help children make distinctions among things they see. Our colored labels keep the collection organized and help your child learn the proper place for our picture books.
How Will I Find Books?
Our Youth Librarian and library staff are always willing to help. However, if you are searching our online catalog, once you open the correct book result, you will find the Storybook Junction Station under Shelf Number. Also, each station will still be arranged by author’s last name to keep our collection better organized.

Build, Drive, Ride

At this station, you can find books on special occasions – birthdays, observances, and holidays.

At this station, you can find books on ABC’s, 123’s, colors, opposites, shapes, and patterns.
