A creative team at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory created beautiful posters for different destinations among the stars. Now, to celebrate Webb’s mission to learn more about existing exoplanets and discover new ones, we want YOU to design a poster from the future to convince travelers to visit the exoplanet of your choice!

How to Enter

First things first, you’ll need to create a travel poster advertising an exoplanet to futuristic space tourists. We strongly suggest taking a look at NASA’s exoplanet catalog and picking a real exoplanet to feature, but we aren’t requiring it.

Your poster can be any size and made of any materials, as long as you can tell us without laughing that it’s a poster.

Posters must be submitted by 5:00 pm on December 10th.

For digital files, email your poster to with the subject heading “Exoplanet Tourism Poster.” Please be sure to include your name, your age, and any other information you’d like us to know about your poster.

If you’d like to turn in a physical copy of your poster, bring it in to the library and drop it off at the front desk! Please attach a label (however you choose) with your name, your age, a way to contact you (phone or email), and any other information you’d like us to know about your poster.

Entries will be divided into two age categories: Youth (0-15) and Adult (16+).

Posters will be judged by Miss Kathryn, Bridget, and our resident space enthusiast, Jen.

Both winners will get a $20 e-gift card to the Goddard Space Flight Center’s NASA store, which features official JWST merch along with other cool NASA items!
