FreedomjourneyJoin us on Thursday, February 25th at 6:30 pm for Dr. Edythe Quinn’s presentation on her book “Freedom Journey: Black Civil War Soldiers and The Hills Community”. Freedom Journey chronicles the lives of thirty-six black men from New York State who fought in the Civil War. Books will be available for purchase and a book signing will follow the presentation.

After reading from her most recent book, Rope & Bone: a novel in stories, author Ginnah Howard will talk about the surprising process of writing a trilogy. The three novels focus on two upstate rural families from 1946 to 2003. Enjoy this successful author’s return visit to our program lineup. Monday, September 22 at 6:30 pm.
