We are elated to announce that Friends of Huntington Library have been selected to be a part of the exciting Hannaford Helps Reusable Bag Program, designed to create revenue streams for non-profits. For every reusable Community Bag purchased during the month of April at the Hannaford store located at Oneonta, $1 will be donated to our organization!  The bag retails for just $2.50 and is located on the reusable bag rack and at various registers.  There are two types of bags, Community Help Bags and Fight Hunger bags.  Be sure you purchase a Community Help Bag. Thanks for your support and share this with your friends!

To help celebrate the great outdoors, the Friends of HML are hosting a program on Monday, May 16th at 6:30 pm, called Perennials in the Garden by Brian Fawcett of Asbury Gardens. Fawcett will share his gardening experience in discussing perennials and their attraction. He’ll discuss if the taste of a plant is associated with their ability to attract butterflies and bees, for their fragrance or for their ability to be good cut flowers. Fawcett will also discuss which perennials are available and suitable for our area. This is a perfect program for both experienced and aspiring gardeners.
