To help celebrate the great outdoors, the Friends of HML are hosting a program on Monday, May 16th at 6:30 pm, called Perennials in the Garden by Brian Fawcett of Asbury Gardens. Fawcett will share his gardening experience in discussing perennials and their attraction. He’ll discuss if the taste of a plant is associated with their ability to attract butterflies and bees, for their fragrance or for their ability to be good cut flowers. Fawcett will also discuss which perennials are available and suitable for our area. This is a perfect program for both experienced and aspiring gardeners.
