Getting a Library Card
All residents of Broome, Chenango, Delaware, and Otsego counties are eligible for a library card. Your library card is free with the following proof of identification:
Adults – To obtain a library card, individuals 16 and older must provide photo identification and proof of current address.
Children – Children under 16 may receive library cards if photo identification and current address can be provided by a parent/guardian. The parent/guardian will sign the card application to acknowledge responsibility for their children’s account.
Please print and fill out the appropriate paper application form below and bring it to the library to complete the application process.
Getting an e-card:
You can now apply for an e-card to access HML’s online services including Hoopla, Libby/Overdrive, and databases. You can convert this card to one with full privileges to borrow from the physical collection by bringing in photo identification and proof of address.

We have nine computers that are connected to high speed fiber internet and Microsoft Office Suite is installed. The computers are connected to a color printer. You may sign up for two, 1-hour time slots per day. Wi-Fi is also available.

Youth Programs
Huntington Memorial Library offers a variety of programs for all ages that supports a love for lifelong reading and learning, as well as supports a child’s imagination. We offer weekly programs to help children develop early literacy skills through stories, songs, action rhymes, and activities.
