“The Changing Role of a Community Hospital”
Jeff Joyner, appointed as A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital’s President on January 1, 2016, and previously associated with St. Joseph’s Healthcare System in New Jersey, discusses the current role of our local hospital and its role in the future. Always continuing to focus on quality of care and patients safety, Mr. Joyner highlights changes that will better position Fox Hospital for the future. This program presents the opportunity for the public’s gaining  insight into the delivery of health care in our own A.O.Fox Memorial Hospital. You won’t want to miss this opportunity.

 

Mission Statement
The mission of the Friends of Huntington Memorial Library shall be to maintain an association of persons interested in strengthening the library, enhancing its collections and promoting its usefulness.

The Friends of the Huntington Memorial Library support library services in many ways. Join this dynamic community group to plan programs, help with home delivery, raise funds, show appreciation to the library staff and most importantly, to advocate for your library. The Friends’ support of the library is vital to the success of the library’s mission to support life-long learning. Meetings are held four times a year in January, June, August and October and are open to all members. On occasion, when needed the board of directors may call a working meeting. Announcements pertaining to meetings are posted on this page.

JOIN The Friends of the Library
Yearly dues from members help support the organization. Contributions are used to buy books, computers, equipment and to fund the summer reading programs for children. To join the Friends of the Library, download, print, complete and mail the membership form.

Other Services That The Friends Provide

Programs: Look for our popular programs through out the year on the Events Calendar.

Book Club: The Friends sponsor Mid-Week Musings, a reading group which meets on the second Wednesday of each month.

Home Delivery: One of the Friends’ activities is to make home deliveries to members of the community who would not otherwise be able to utilize the library’s materials. This service is provided free of charge and is staffed by Friends of Huntington Memorial Library.
